In Sumy, due to clash of two tax office officials, journalists were not allowed to attend press conference

In Sumy, two chief tax officials failed to agree on which of them is the senior. As a result, the journalists who came to the press conference to the head of the Chief Department of the Ministry of Incomes in the oblast, were not allowed inside, the IMI regional correspondent informs.

Because of reorganization of the Ministry of income into the fiscal service, in Sumy region, a legal collision exists, and now both officials (head of the department of the Ministry of Income Oleksander Semchenko and head of the state fiscal service Yuriy Bolbita) consider themselves the boss of «tax office».

When Semchenko decided to conduct a press conference, Bolbita ordered not to give access to the restricted area for the journalists. Several journalists tried to get in, but to no avail. The police unit that was called to the scene found no violation of law in this situation.
