On April 21 in Slovyansk (Donetska oblast) between 10 and 11, three journalists were kidnapped – two Italian journalists, Pol Gogo Поля Гого and Cosimo Attanasio and Belorussian journalist with the newspaper “Novyi chas” Dmytro Galko.
Documents, money and filming equipment were taken from them. The kidnappers were armed, rude and never introduced themselves. In an hour, the three journalists were released. Yet, soon, they were detained again by people on a different block-post. The journalists tried to get to Gypsy settlement. The people at that second block post said that they will not let the journalists through unless they get “accreditation” in the city council in Slovyansk
