In Slovyansk, for accreditation of journalists the signature of Russian Chief Intelligence Directorate operative and recommendation of Russian mass media are needed

Leaders of Slovyansk “militia” in Donetsk oblast conduct complete accreditation for all journalists who work in the city.

According to their procedure, a journalist must come to the Security Service of Ukraine building captured by the terrorists, and to give his/her passport to their press service representative.

In addition, recommendation of one of the journalists accredited before is required, at that the journalists of Russian mass media are preferred. The militiamen study the previous publications of the journalists, who want to be accredited, and based on this provide accreditation or deny it.
