In Simferopol, Russian police detained Crimean Tatar journalist Zair Akadyrov

On January 15, in Simferopol, in the Supreme Court of Crimea, police detained Crimean journalist Zair Akadyrov, QHA reports.

Akadyrov is now waiting for his attorney. The Supreme Court of Crimea was considering the "case of February 26" related to anti-Russian protests at the time when Russia was annexing the peninsula. Among the accused there are several Crimean Tatar activists and public figures. Akadyrov was not accused before - he visited the court session as a part of audience, and was detained right there.
