In Simferopol, free Wi-Fi advertises occupational authorities’ websites

In downtown Simferopol, the self-proclaimed government of Crimea annexed by the Russian Federation established free Wi-Fi. When users access it, they are redirected to the website with greeting from the city mayor Viktor Ageyev and are offered a list of the ‘available for free’ websites of the occupational authorities, Krym.Realii reports. The listed websites include the ‘e-government’, governmental services, Simferopo’s city website and the website of the ‘Council of Ministers’ as well as the news website Kryminform. The access speed is pretty low, though.
