Last weekend, in the center of Simferopol (Crimea), unidentified individuals robbed the editorial office of the Crimean Tatar newspaper «Yanyy diunya».

As the editor-in-chief Zera Bekirova reported, the office was not smashed, as some media outlets reported earlier – simply the thieves opened the door with a key that was previously lost, and took all office equipment used to produce the newspaper – computers, printers, cameras, routers, modems.  Bekirova does not think that this crime had any political motives.
