In Simferopol, director of QHA got summoned to center for counteraction to extremism over agency's activities
The director of the information agency “Crimean news” QHA, member of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Hayane Yuksel was summoned to the department for counteraction to extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation (Center “E”) in Simferopol, for reasons related to the agency's activities. The conversation in the presence of a lawyer lasted two hours; they were asking about the information on "extremist organizations" banned in the RF since November of 2014 that was published on the website qha.com.ua. Hayana says she refused to answer any questions using her right stipulated in Article 51 of Russian Federation. Recently the registration of her agency in Crimea was revoked, and they moved to Kyiv.
