In Simferopol, "community defence" beat and interrogated "Dozhd" journalist

20.05.2014, 10:58

On May 19, in Simferopol the Crimean "community defence" beat and detained the correspondent of the Russian TV channel "Dozhd" Petr Ruzanov. Men wearing camouflage approached Ruzanov, when they noticed he was filming them. They demanded that he deleted the footage with them, and he did as they demanded. At the entrance to the HQ of this illegal armed group one of the gunmen kicked the correspondent twice and broke the camera battery. Ruzanov was interrogated, his personal information was written down and then they let him go.
