In Rivne, court found guilty 2 young persons who demanded impeachment of president

26.06.2019, 20:39
A court in Rivne found guilty a 16-year-old girl and a 20-year-old boy who came to the city center with posters calling for the impeachment of the president Volodymyr Zelensky in May, as Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reported. The mother Dariya Kotsyuruby, Natalia, said the judges found her daughter guilty of an administrative offense on June 13, as "UA: Rivne" reported. "We have a warning, no pecuniary penalty. But we will make an appeal and prove innocence, "- she said. The woman added that the comrade Daria Roman's trial also found guilty. Executive Director of Amnesty International Ukraine, Oksana Pokalchuk said that she was "shocked" with the court's decision. This is even beyond the limits of the absurd ... For me, the decision to find Darius and Roman guilty is contrary to fundamental human rights and the principles of a fair trial, and should be immediately cancelled. If this does not happen, for all of us there will be serious reasons for fear of freedom of expression in Ukraine, "Pokalchuk wrote on Facebook.
