In Rivne, attorney wanted to take journalists out of court room
On February 11, in Rivne, at the beginning of the open court session of Rivnenska oblast concerning reviewing of the prosecutor's office' appeal on selection of restraint for the ex-employee of the Department of MIA of Ukraine Mykhailo Buznanskyi, his attorney Volodymyr Sokal asked judges to expel journalists from the court room because, as he explained, there would be the sensitive information disclosed, regarding the client's stay in the zone of hostilities and assignments that the client was accomplishing there.
The judges refused to expel journalists, yet commanded them not to make any online comments in the court room, not to do video and photo recording, which is somewhat beyond the powers granted to judges by the law.
