In Odeska oblast, poachers attacked Channel 7 journalists

On May 19, in the village of Lebedivka, Odeska oblast, poachers threatened the filming crew of Channel 7’s investigation program “Normalno.” They punctured the tires of the journalists' car by planting anti-tire spikes and tossed eggs into both cars of the filming crew. Channel 7 reports this.

The incident took place as the journalists were taking the footage about poachers on the territory of the National Reserve “Coastal lagoons”.

The journalists managed to learn the name of the person who threatened them:  his name was Vitaliy Terzi, as Mariya Kovaliova, Channel 7 journalist, reported on her Facebook. Also, he started shooting into the air and nearly ran over one of the journalists to intimidate them, as director of the National Reserve Ivan Rusiyev reported. Police arrived to the scene only in 2.5 hours, and the offender escaped by that time. The journalist left the site in the evening, none of them was injured.
