04.08.2020, 11:59

In the city of Podilsk (Odesa region), on August 3, director of the communal enterprise “Blahoustriy” Petro Melnyk threatened the cameraman of TV channel "Peak" with breaking his camera urging him to stop recording, Dumska reports.

The incident took place when the filming crew of the TV channel entered the territory of the enterprise when filming the story about the waste deposit.

According to the journalist of the channel, Veronika Palitu, the channel received a request from the residents of Orekhova street due to waste deposit area that formed near their residential building. The waste disposal in the city is administrated by the communal enterprise “Blahoustriy”.

“We filmed footage for the story and showed the waste deposit to the administration of the communal administration for construction and supervision of Podilsk. There, they said the blame is entirely on the residents themselves”, the journalist explained.

After that, the filming crew went to people directly in charge of waste disposal - to the communal enterprise “Blahoustriy”, and there, the crew was forced out.

The journalist filed a complaint to the police because of this incident.
