In Odesa, participants of rally at Kulikovo Polye obstructed work of "1+1"filming crew

05.05.2015, 03:21

On May 2 in Odesa, participants of the commemorative rally at Kulikovo Polye, dedicated to those who died in the fire in the Trade Union House a year ago, attacked the filming crew of the TV channel “1+1” news service - they pushed the journalists and tried to break their camera. As the filming crew was trying to record footage from the rally, several dozens of participants started to blame journalists of being biased, and accuse them of "working for Kolomoiskiy". After verbal aggression, they started to push physically, but police prevented the fight and helped the journalists to get out from the site. The press service of "1+1" channel did not confirm the assault - according to the official version, it was just some rally members’ verbal aggression, yet the journalists continued to work after the incident.
