In Odesa, masked men burst into TV channel "Kruh" and beat its director

On February 9, in Odesa a group of masked men led by the TV channel's ex-executive director Ihor Yakovlev burst into the editorial office of the TV channel “Kruh.” Several persons were injured in the fight. This was reported by Dumskaya. Recently, a court decision became effective to sustain Yakovlev's claim against “Kruh” for payment of his salary for May-August 2013. It is currently not known whether the break-in is somehow related to this decision.

The fight involved community defense groups on both sides.

According to the editorial office of the TV channel “Kruh”, the attackers started a fight in the editorial office. One of the injured was the company's current vice director Ihor Khotyn, who tried to resist the attackers; they twisted his arms and pulled him down the stairs. after that, the attackers left the editorial office and on their way out damaged a personal car of the TV channel's announcer Oleksander Kamiany. Ihor Khotyn was taken to hospital.
