In Odesa, city council member threatened journalist covering session of city council commission

21.04.2016, 01:54

On April 15 in Odesa, a member of the city council from the party "Trust the deeds" Andriy Kislovskyi threatened the reporter of the information agency “Odesa Inform” Oleksiy Chornyi with physical violence.

The IMI representative in Odeska oblast reported about this incident. It took place at a session of the commission for transport that the council representatives voted to "close" from journalists, and tried to force the journalists out - as the head of the commission Fokina explained, "council members need to discuss personal issues". NGO representatives and journalists refused to leave.

In the ensuing quarrel, Kislovskyi approached the journalist and told him, "Next time you are being rude you get a f..ing beating". The journalist is considering filing a court claim against the city council member.
