In Mykolayiv, woman scratched journalist in court
In Mykolayiv on July 1, in the building of Zhovtnevy rayon court, a woman attacked a 67-y.o. journalist of the newspaper “Ukrayinsky Pivden.” This was reported by the representative of IMI in Mykolayivska oblast.
According to the journalist, a 28-y.o. resident of the oblast was offending him, when he was taking a footage of the session on a civil suit; she was provoking a conflict, tried to take away his phone, with which he was recording the video, scratched his hand and tore away his journalist badge.
Police said that based on the fact of the attack, a criminal investigation was launched under part 1 Article 171 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Obstruction to professional activities of journalists;” the investigation is pending.
