In Mykolaiv, official pushed journalist out of her "secret" office

18.05.2016, 21:24

On May 17, during day time, the head of the HR department of the executive committee of Mykolaiv city council Nataliya Kuzmychova was impeding the correspondent of the online media outlet “NikVesti” Kateryna Sereda, while the journalist tried to take some footage inside the mayor's office building, saying that her office is a "secret room" and she has some "papers containing personal data" on her table. The journalist ended up in the HR head office because some of the council members went there to check the minutes of the session, and asked the journalists to take a look at the minutes. When the journalist said that she was not taking footage of documents on the table, the department head grabbed her hand and forced her out of the room. This information was reported by the local IMI correspondent.
