In Mykolaiv, fake journalists from Crimea, who came to film Shufrych, got exposed

22.10.2014, 02:00

On October 17, in Mykolaiv, when the activists of pro-Ukrainian organizations were waiting near “Oleksandrivskyi” Hotel for MP Nestor Shufrych, local media representatives exposed a filmig crew, who were introducing themselves as correspondents of the local “Mart” channel, yet in reality they were not. The real journalist of “Mart”, Maryna Mykhailovska, said that the journalists with the names that the filming crew used do not work for the channel.

As a result, the journalists and activists called police, and police officers took the unidentified journalists to the district police station to clarify the situation. The filming crew did not explain, for whom they were filming in reality – a day before they were interviewing people in the streets about the elections, and then they were introducing themselves as representatives of the TV channel “Kyivska Rus.”
