In Mykolaiv, during preparation of material about slot machines hall, journalist was attacked

On July 25 in Mykolaiv, the journalist of "Prestupnosti.net" and regional IMI representative in Mykolaiv oblast Andriy Lokhmatov was attacked. The journalist himself reported this at the website of the Independent Media Trade Union of Ukraine. 

According to IMTUU, on July 25 at about 4.30 p.m. at Lenin Avenue, civil activists and journalists discovered a gambling hall with slot machines. When the journalists entered, a female employee inside said that recording is forbidden. She started grabbing Lokhmatov's camera, yelling, and kicking at media outlets' employees to drive them away. According to IMTUU lawyer, Oleksiy Rzhanov, the situation falls under at least two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The incident was recorded on camera.
