In Mykolaiv, driver who threatened Prestupnosti.net journalists is under trial based on article 171 of Criminal Code

Central District Court of Mykolaiv city received for essential consideration the indictment regarding the fact of obstruction to the professional activities of an information agency journalist (criminal offence described in part 1, article 171 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The official website of the judicial power in Ukraine published this information. The pre-trial investigation was accomplished by the local prosecutor's office. Judge Serhiy Mediuk appointed the first, preparative, court session, for December 2, 2015. The incident considered in the court occurred on the eve of July 10, 2013, when the drunk jeep driver stopped by road police was threatening the journalists of the filming crew covering the event.
