In Mariupol, unidentified man threatened journalist to break her camera

02.11.2015, 18:45

On October 27 in Mariupol (Donetska oblast), an unidentified man attacked the journalist of the local website 0629, Hanna Pratskova. The 0629 website reports about this. The same information was confirmed by the journalist herself to the local IMI representative.

The correspondent was taking some shots for her photo project. When she was doing this, the man assaulted her. He threatened to damage her camera and threatened to "break her fingers and smash her head" after he learned she was a journalist. The reason for his aggression, as he said, was that his friend was caught in one of the shots. The journalist cried for help, scared - she could not call police for fear of the man snatching her phone from her. A passer-by answered, but the man continued to threaten and be aggressive. He calmed down only after the journalist showed that there was no one on the photos she took.
