In Luhanska oblast, Russian documentary producer Beata Bubynets got detained
On August 10, in the town of Shchastia of Luhanska oblast Beata Bubynets, a Russian documentary producer and alumna of the School of Maryna Razbezhkina, was detained.
Bubynets has been staying in Ukraine since the beginning of Maidan – she was filming a documentary.
According to the Anti-Terrorist Operation speaker, Oleksiy Dmytrashkivsky, Bubynets was stopped by the Ukrainian military as she did not have an accreditation with ATO, stayed with them for the night due to the dangerous situation and on August 11 was taken to the ATO HQ.
The ATO speaker insists that journalists and camera operators that intend to work in the ATO zone must first contact the ATO HQ to coordinate their route with the checkpoints to minimize danger for them.
