In Luhansk, TV channel LKT suspended its operation

11.07.2014, 10:56

The TV channel "Luhansk Cable Television" suspended its operation because of danger to lives of its staff. This was reported on the website "PressOrg".

On the general meeting, the director of the TV company informed the staff that he was unable to guarantee their safety when they were at work – because of the hostilities in the city. Everyone has been sent on vacation; the TV channel’s broadcasting has been stopped. Its frequency is currently being used by the Russian ‘Channel 5’.

Earlier, the terrorists from Luhansk People’s Republic forced two Luhansk TV channels, "IRTA" and "LOT" to seize broadcasting.
