In Luhansk, a prominent local journalist  Oleksander  Bilokobylsky went missing. This was reported by a Luhansk journalist Yana Osadcha on her Facebook page.

She received a call from Oleksander Bilokobylsky’s wife, who said that Oleksander went to Luhansk and disappeared. He was supposed to be there on Septenber 13, to visit the celebration of the Day of the City and to deliver some food, medications, and money to his relatives but visited or contacted none of them. Bilokobylsky’s wife confirmed that he safely passed all Ukrainian checkpoints and informed that on September 16, she received a text message from an unknown phone number that her husband was alive but was not able to leave the city. His wife believes he was detained when he went downtown to collect materials to cover the celebration of the Day of the City.
