In Kyivska oblast, unidentified man attacked "Stop corruption" journalist

Journalist of the project «Stop corruption» Lilia Tkachuk was impeded in the village of Kniazhychi, Brovarskyi rayon (Kyivska oblast). Telekrytyka informs about this, referring to a Facebook entry of the TV channel Inter correspondent Roman Bochkala.

According to him, on October 6 Lilia Tkachuk was filming the footage in Kniazhychi for her story on the illegal land seizure, and fencing of the seized territory with a lifting gate. As she did, an unknown man attacked the journalist. The man’s clothes bore insignia of the "Azov" battalion.

As Roman Bochkala remarks, a couple of years ago he was attacked in the same region, and thrown down the court stairs. Just as before, he says, the journalists who try to uncover corruption are under threat due to impunity of such attacks.
