In Kyivska oblast, journalist died in traffic accident

Near the village of Hrebinka, Vasylkivskyi rayon, Kyivska oblast, in a traffic accident died a 29-y.o. Kyiv-based woman, who had a journalist ID on her, the police reports. The Chief department of the National police in Kyivska oblast on its Facebook page reported that the traffic accident took place around 2:30 p.m. on Kyiv-Odesa highway near the village of Hrebinka. “A Mazda moving towards Kyiv the woman was driving went into the oncoming lane and ran into an offroader Mercedes. The woman driving the Mazda sustained severe injuries and died on site before the ambulance arrived”, the police reported. The woman had on her am expired journalist ID of one of Ukrainian media outlets. The man driving the Mercedes, a 47-y.o. Kyivite, did not medical attention and was not in any danger. A criminal case was opened and investigation is pending.
