18.08.2014, 14:31

In Obolonsky rayon of Kyiv city, on Tymoshenko Street unidentified men attacked and robbed the live broadcast editor of the TV channel «112 Ukraina» Vitaly Prudyus. This was reported on the TV channel’s website. The incident took place on the eve of August 15, when Prudyus drove to his home and parked his car. When he exited the car, he saw two unfamiliar men approaching him from behind. They pushed him to the ground, and, when he fell, snatched his bag and disappeared.

Soon after, money was withdrawn from his salary card.

Prudyus also sustained a brain concussion and eardrum rupture.

The police promptly arrived to the site of the incident but failed to find the attackers. They launched a criminal investigation.
