In Kyiv, thugs beat NTN journalists

On August 10 in Kyiv, unidentified thugs attacked the filming crew of the journalist investigation program "Influence Agents" of the NTN TV channel. As a result of the assault, the cameraman Oleksander Stratiychuk was beaten, and his camera was smashed. The incident took place in Holosiyivskyi rayon, where the journalists wanted to cover an illegal development area at 46/1 Holosiyivskyi Ave. Journalist Maryana Manichka described the incident at her Facebook page. To her opinion, the behavior of local police shows that the attackers were somehow affiliated with them – the attacker who did the beating was not detained, and before questioning, the journalists were held at the police station for five hours while the policemen discussed the situation with their department.
