In Kyiv, police verifies journalist complaint about obstruction

In Kyiv, police verifies the complaint of the journalist that on February 22 at Maidan Nezalezhnosti, in downtown Kyiv, his camera was taken and the camera tripod was damaged. The Chief Administration of National Police in Kyiv reports this on its website.

“At 10:50, police received a call from a man who called himself a journalist  and press secretary of "Revolutionary Right Forces": unidentified people took his camera and damaged the camera tripod. Now this person is at the police station, explaining the situation to law enforcers”, the police reports.

The man who called himself journalist tried to interview the people who gathered at Maidan square wearing masks and camouflage, allegedly to protest, and was attacked by these people.
