In Kyiv, hooligan punched journalist during preparation of story about fire near underground station
On January 13 in Kyiv, a hooligan punched journalist of a TV channel when the former was preparing a story about a fire in a nearby kiosk (there was a fire underground at the metro station "Druzhby Narodov" on January 13, which caused the station to get shut down for the day). This information was reported at the website of the National Police chief administration in Kyiv city.
The incident took place in Pecherskyi district of Kyiv in the evening. When the filming crew went underground to get some footage, there was a quarrel between the journalist and a young passer-by. In the end, the 18-year-old hooligan punched the journalist in the face. The journalist called police, and the attacker was detained. The police investigates this as impediment to professional activities of journalist (part 1, article 171 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
