In Kyiv, head of district election committee forbade to record using tablet, because "this is not registered equipment

On October 26 in district No.217, at polling station No.800544, the head of the district election committee forbade to record ballot counting using tablets and cell phones, because, according to her, all equipment that media outlets use must be registered. She did not specify how to register it and what law, according to her, regulates this. She called a policeman and Anastasia Muzychenko, the journalist, was taken out of the room.

According to the media-lawyer Liudmyla Opryshko from the Institute for Development of Regional Press, such demands constitute a gross violation of law.
