In Kyiv, alley is named after journalist Gareth Jones, the one who told the world about the Holodomor

Kyiv city council named alley in Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv city after Gareth Jones, the journalist who, for the first time in the Western press, declared under his own name that in Ukraine in 1932-1933 there was an artificial famine, Holodomor.

This resolution was approved by Kyiv city council at the session on July 30, the city council website informs.
