In Kryvyy Rih issued counterfeit newspaper to diffuse black PR

In Kryvyy Rih, on March 14ththey distributed a fake local newspaper “Domicil newspaper”. There were several commissioned stories publiched in this issue against local politicians, as the editor in chief of the newspaper Viktor Kovalenko told to IMI correspondent in Dnipropetrovska region. “This had been already happening twice. They put our logo, colour edition. Although our newspaper is black and white. They distribute it door-to-door, leave it in letter-boxes. And today they distributed it just down-town”, Kovalenko said. As he said, the editorial board did not file complaint to the police, it was done by the local elected official who had been targeted by the articles published in this fake edition. The investigators questioned the editor in chief.
