In Kryvyi Rih unknown smashed journalist's head with armature

Late at night on Dec.9, in Kryvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region) unknown attacked Anatoliy Rudenko, the human rights activist and journalist. Social activist Sergiy Fedko reports it to the Radio Liberty .

According to him, Rudenko recieves threats from unknown for his human rights activity.

"The attack occurred in the evening at the entrance of his house. Two men with armatures inflicted several blows. He had time to dial his wife through the intercom, but when she ran out - there were no attackers. She called an ambulance and the police, I also came. It was not a robbery, because his phone and money were not stolen. There was the same case of attack on him in 2014. Back then it was qualified as "hooliganism" - said Sergiy Fedko.

Doctors diagnosed hand fractures and skull injuries. Condition of Rudenko is stable.
