In Kropyvnytskyi, unidentified men were not admitting journalists for press conference

30.05.2017, 14:41

On May 26, in Kropyvnytskyi, unidentified men were not allowing the journalists to the press conference of LLC “Nyva-2010”. The journalist of the media outlet "Zlatopol" Volodymyr Kondrashov reported this to the local IMI representative.

According to the journalist, some men, supposedly from local sports clubs and football fans, who called themselves "just passers-by" were not allowing the photo journalist of "Vechirnia Hazeta" Oleh Shramko and the cameraman of the local TV channel "Kirovohrad" Serhiy Baraniuk to the premises where the press conference of LLC "Nyva-2010" was held, demanding to show their journalist IDs. The same men later were inside as security for the event. At the time of the incident, most of the press representatives were already inside, so the journalists waited for the colleagues to pick them up.

Because no one was hurt, the journalists chose not to file an official complaint about this case.
