In Krasny Luch, on the eve of pseudo-referendum provider switched off Ukrainian TV channels
On May 10, in the city of Krasny Luch (population around 100 thousand) of Luhansk oblast on the eve of the pseudo-referendum about the status of the region a local cable TV provider, the TV and radio company 'Luch', switched off several Ukrainian TV channels in its network, in particular, ICTV, TRK Ukraina, STB, and Channel 112. About a week earlier, this provider switched off the First National TV Channel, 1+1, Channel 5, and Channel 24. Instead of the Ukrainian TV channels, it broadcasts Russian TV channels. According to the TV and radio company 'Luch', it switched off the Ukrainian channels in connection with the recent events in the East of Ukraine, as they are now Luhansk People's Republic.
For the context, on May 11 in Luhansk oblast the separatists conducted referendum about the status of the region.
