In Kramatorsk, local newspapers are no longer available

In Kramatorsk, Donetska oblast, local printed editions are temporarily out of circulation, due to the pending anti-terror operation and complicated situation with crimes in the region.

Specificly, the newspapers that are no longer printed are «Skhidnyi Proekt» (“Eastern Project”), «Novyny Kramatorska» (“Kramatorsk News”), and «Kramatorska pravda».

“Kramatorska pravda” is unable to make settlements with the printing office. Journalists of “Skhidnyi Proekt” decided to concentrate on the Internet version of the newspaper, because arrangement of delivery and sale of hardcopies is very problematic.

Due to the recent events, the journalists and activists in the East of Ukraine are now under pressure and threats of separatists.
