In Kovel, journalists of Volyn branch of National Public TV and Radio Company of Ukraine had their camera smashed

In the city of Kovel (Volynska oblast), on March 29, the filming crew of Volyn regional directorate of National Public TV and Radio Company of Ukraine had their camera broken as they were taking footage for their story. This was reported to IMI by the producer of Volyn regional directorate, of the National Public Company, Kostiantyn Lotsman. “The incident took place when we were taking footage for the story about Kovel city resident, a woman. Neighbors and animal protectors complained about her setting up on her yard a sort of hiding place for dogs. To clarify what exactly is going on, the filming crew of the channel went there”, he said. According to Mr. Lotsman, the filming crew was met with thrown stones, and one of the stones hit the camera objective lens, breaking it. The journalists called the police and filed an official complaint about this incident.
