In Khmelnytsky, hired thugs defaced building of TV channel 33
In Khmelnytsky, on October 21, unidentified young men defaced the building of the local “Kanal 33” and sprayed some paint at the TV channel’s director general Ihor Melnychuk. The incident took place around 3.20 p.m.: unidentified young men, some wearing masks, started to paint slogans like ‘Political purge’ on the external wall of the building. When the journalists got outside and tried to film them, the thugs ran off, but one of them sprayed some liquide at the director general.
Earlier that day, the channel’s filming crew went to the village of Lisovi Hrynivtsi as they received a tip that some suspicious-looking buses bring over young thugs to the house of one of local Parliamentary candidates – Viktor Kolishchak (electoral district No.188). The thugs were against the TV crew filming them and were hiding their faces. Later, buses took them to Khmelnytsky, to the building of the TV channel.
