In Khersonska oblast, Security Service of Ukraine detained gunmen disseminating separatist newspapers

On July 15, in the city of Nova Kakhovka, Khersonska oblast, officers of the Security Service of Ukraine captured a group of gunmen involved in separatist and terrorist activities in the East of Ukraine. They also seized the separatist newspaper «Novorossia» and leaflets with calls for dismantling of Ukraine.

It was established that they had been cooperating with the terrorist organization that operated in Donetska oblast. Among other things seized, these gunmen had illegal firearms and explosives.

The criminal investigation is ongoing.
