On July 11, in Kherson near the regional state administration during a rally in support of the eventual new governor, some aggressive activists clashed with the press. This is reported by a representative of IMI in the Kherson region, who was eye-witness of the incident.
One of the participants of the rally pushed the girl, who was taking pictures on her phone and asked questions the participants of the rally. The journalist for the PIK news agency Oleksander Kornyakov tried to defend the journalist and made a remark to the assaulter.
So, the man pushed the journalist and began to threaten Oleksander and his colleagues.
The dispute was settled without the police.
As the IMI correspondent told Oleksander Kornyakov would not file complaint to the police.
