Yet, the car owner adds, the emergecy service experts did not record the testimony that people heard some kind of a popping sound. Also Rusin said that while, according to the expert, fire started near the front right supporting block, there are no electrical devices there that could short-circuit. The car was also refitted for natural gas use and equipped with an alarm system. The journalist estimates his losses as equal to 60 thousand hryvnias.
The car owner said he is sure that the car was set on fire on purpose. The journalist said that he would file an official complaint about this to the police. He said that he believes that this incident was due to his professional activities, although there were no direct threats against him.
“Still, our site has been under attack for a week. There were two attempts to hack the admin account, and three attempts to hack my account. Too many coincidences”, – Rusin said.
In his comment for the regional IMI representative he said: “I will demand to investigate this case, I will emphasize that this arson was related to my job, because in the last week around me and around the website editorial office there was many discussion, and attention”.
