In Kharkiv, on May 9, the Victory Day, several clashes took place. During one of the clashes, protesters knocked the camera from the hands of the cameraman of TV and Radio company OTV Oleksander Lahutin to the ground.
The incident took place near the Glory Memorial, where the operator was recording people laying down flowers.
There, during a verbal quarrel between war veterans and pro-Ukrainian organizations’ activists, one of the representatives of such associations, "Eastern Corps", Vyacheslav Duda, knocked the cameraman's camera from his hands to the ground. Duda says that he took him for a cameraman of a separatist channel, and said he is ready to apologize. The camera sustained minor damage, but was still operational.
