On November 18, in the city of Kamyanske (Dnipropetrovska oblast), unidentified people set on fire the garage of the editor-in-chief of local newspaper “Sobytiye Segodnia”, Mykhailo Baltaksa. This was reported at the newspaper's website. The incident took place about 7 P.M. in the yard of the building at Halyna Romanova Street. According to the newspaper, the garage where the editor usually keeps his motorcycle, was set on fire with a loud noise that sounded like an explosion. Security guards from civil organization "Alabai" heard it, and came to help the editor to extinguish the fire. the force of the explosion damaged the lock and the metal roof of the garage. The motorcycle was not in at the time of the explosion. According to the newspaper, the police considers an arsonist using ventilation hole to start the fire a likely scenario of the crime. A year ago, on December 30, 2016, someone set up a booby trap using seven combat grenades  near the newspaper's office. Chief editor Mykhailo Baltaksa then commented that it was probably related to the newspaper's activities. That crime is still unresolved.
