In Kamianets-Podilsky, journalist was not allowed to city executive committee’s session
On June 12, Kamianets-Podilsky executive committee of the city council did not allow the correspondent of "Independent Community Portal" to attend its session. According to the media outlet’s website, the committee’s representative Hryhoriy Horshunov explained that journalists needed accreditation with the city council to attend its sessions. The journalist submitted a request for accreditation but it will be considered in August. And according to specialists of the general department, journalists get registered at the session of the city council, for this they have to submit a request in 30 days before the session. No official documents of the city council have such provisions; moreover, they contradict the Ukrainian legislation.
