In Ivano-Frankivsk, causers of traffic incident threatened journalist to send him to hospital

09.10.2014, 17:28

On October 9, in Ivano-Frankivsk, causers of a traffic incident were threatening a journalist of “Reporter” for making photos of the incident.

The incident happened around 1 p.m. on the crossing of Sakharova and Melnyka Streets. A “Honda” ran into a “Fiat.”

The Honda’s driver was talking to a police officer when he saw the journalist making photos. Together with his friend, the man demanded to delete all photos and threatened to smash the journalist’s camera.  The police officer said that nothing worth mentioning happened and that all information would be available at the police press center and so he refused to comment. He did not react to the threats to the journalist.

The driver and his friend chased the journalist with threats, in particular, wished him to end up in hospital.
