In Horlovka, editor of website was kidnapped

13.05.2014, 12:18

On April 14, in Horlovka pro-Russian activists kidnapped the editor of the city website, Oleksander Bilinskiy.

Seven masked individuals broke into the office and demanded Bilinskiy. He came forward, and they took him and pushed him out of the office, and brought him to the building of the department of internal affairs. There, several hundred people gathered, who blamed him that he called them terrorists in the website materials. He tried to explain that it was not so, but it was difficult. He was scared and it took great effort to talk to these people, but other than that, he is not harmed. He also mentioned that most of the local media outlets closed down their offices and it is difficult to cover the ongoing events.
