In Donetsk, terrorists demand that TV providers switch off all Ukrainian TV channels

Pretty much all cable TV providers in Donetsk switched off the last Ukrainian channels they had in the feed. This was reported by the online media outlet "Ostrov" with reference to its readership, who are clients of different cable TV providers in various rayons of the city.

According to an employee of one of the cable TV operators, on July 29 they received the new list of channels to be switched off. They had to replace Ukrainian TV channels with channels that are not popular, and a lot of subscribers refuse from the packages formed in this way. 

Earlier terrorists demanded that the cable TV operators switched off Ukrainian channels that provided news but said nothing about entertainment or business TV channels, and now these were to be switched off, too.  

Some providers still keep children’s and music Ukrainian TV channels.
