In Donetsk region, the newspaper "Provintsia" was attacked with “Molotov cocktails”
At night on April 22, in the city of Konstantynivka (Donetska oblast), unidentified individuals threw bottles with flammable liquid into the office of the local newspaper “Provintsia”. The resulting fire burned a room with a computer. No people were present in the office during the attack.
The editor of the newspaper said that before, at the pro-Russian rally, there were calls not to buy the newspaper and to burn its office, although the editorial office tries to keep neutral in the turmoil. In addition, the journalist of the newspaper Volodymyr Berezin has to hide from the so-called “titushki”, as he encountered aggressive attitude from his neighbors. According to the editor, they blame the journalist for proliferating anti-separatist leaflets, yet Berezin had no time for such activities, as he was very busy at lately as he had to take the duties of one of his colleagues who was unable to work because of her illness.
