In Donetsk region, people with fake press cards revealed at the polling station

In Pokrovsk (Donetsk region), some persons with the press cards looking fake (like printed) were identified at the polling station, as on July 21 the Deputy chief of the police in Donetsk region Pavlo Alekseyenko said at the press briefing in Kramatorsk. The police investigates into this incident within the criminal proceedings opened under Art. 358 of the Criminal Code (forgery of documents). IMI reported, on July 21 in Kremenchug (Poltava region) several persons came to the polling stations with press cards of freelancers for the newspaper "Avtograph" and the communal "Kremenchug city TV and radio company". At the same time, they represented themselves as observers. On July 21, in Mariynka (Donetsk region), in the district # 59, some persons were identified who presented themselves as journalists but failed to provide their press cards. On July 21, in the city of Korosten (Zhytomyr region), at the single member district #64 four persons were detained who presented themselves as the journalists for "Television and radio company Zhytomyr Novyny". The police verifies the legality of the press cards.
